Everybody Loses

I've only just realised, for a while my brain was stumped
In fact it took so long I'm feeling quite a chump
That those who benefit most from cigarettes disappearing from our shelves
Are tobacco company employees, yes their very own selvesrn
But how could this be, you're not making any sense
Let me explain it to you, here is my defence
The proportion of smokers within the tobacco conglomeration
Is higher than the proportion within the general populationrn
And all the money in the world won't be very satisfying
If you've only half a lung and you know that you are dying
Cigarettes kill and they don't pick and choose
While cigarettes are sold, everybody loses
